Blank plastic cards from Primemark are available in a wide variety of formats:-

 Plain Blank Cards
Blank plastic cards are available in plain white, as well as a variety of other plain colours in packs of 100 or 500 cards. These are all ISO standard credit-card size and thickness, however cards of different thickness and finish are also available. We can also custom make coloured cards in any Pantone colour as well as metallic cards in silver, gold or copper.

 Magnetic Stripe Cards
Magstripe cards are available with either a LoCo or HiCo magnetic strip. LoCo magnetic stripe format is suitable where cards are not subjected to hard wear and tear. HiCo format cards are suitable for longer lifetime cards requiring stronger durability. Please check the specification of your encoding equipment as to which format it will support. We also sell magstripe readers / encoders. Please note that HiCo format cards may only be encoded with a HiCo magstripe writer / encoder. Most HiCo encoders can write in both LoCo and HiCo format.

 Signature Panels
Blank Cards with ISO format signature strips on the reverse are available. It is also possible to have cards made with the signature panel in a different position (eg. on the front of the card) and of varying sizes.

 Smart Cards and Mifare Cards
Smart cards with an ISO format electronic chip are available in a variety of memory capacities from 2K and 8K cards through to 32K. We can supply Phillips, Infineon and Desfire cards in various formats.

Access Control Cards
We have access control cards, keyfobs and tags for use with all the popular access control systems including Paxton, PAC, TDSi, Bewator / Cotag and Casi-Rusco systems. These cater for a variety of applications including door access control, vending machine use, photocopier credits, computer access control, hotel door room access and other such uses.

 Combination Cards
All our blank cards are available with any combination of the above features. For example, you can have a Plain White Card with HiCo magstripe and signature panel on reverse. Or a plain blue card with a signature panel and 2K smart chip and so on.

 Pre-printed Cards
We can also arrange to design and pre-print pvc cards, front and/or reverse, with text, graphics and logos in monochrome or full colour. Most access control cards and mifare cards can also be printed onto. We can include scratch-off panels, holograms, varnish and lamination. Ask about our Bureau Service.

We can sequentially number the cards, including pin numbers, or print variable data provided in a list or database as well as encode data onto magstripe cards. We can either print the complete content, or partial content. For partially printed cards, you may then use your own card printer (see our range of card printers) to then print additional information, data or graphics onto the card.  Embossing
If you wish to have embossed / raised lettering printed onto your cards, Primemark's Bureau Service can provide this facility. This can either be numeric digits or alpha-numeric characters.

HiCo or LoCo magnetic stripe?
In laymans terms, HiCo and LoCo are measures of how strong the magnetic particles on the magstripe are. Card readers cannot tell the difference. LoCo cards are more likely to be erased by mistake, since the magnetic particles on the magstripe can easily be changed by an outside force. HiCo cards are for hostile environments, with large magnetic and electrical fields or more critical applications.

LoCo mag stripe encoders are generally less expensive than HiCo encoders. This is because it requires more "energy" to align the magnetic particles on the HiCo cards (and therefore they are harder to erase by an outside force). HiCo magstripe encoders are more sophisticated to generate these larger fields to write the card.
